Litigation in Costa Rica
Because we practice preventive law by creating legal structures to protect the interests of our clients, we significantly reduce the risk of cumbersome litigation in Costa Rica for our clients. We also believe in exercising varied alternative dispute resolution options to avoid the judiciary process of having to file a lawsuit in Costa Rica.
Sometimes it is not possible to avoid going through the court system to resolve certain matters, for those cases our litigators have the knowledge of Costa Rica litigation and experience of having represented our clients before most of the courts throughout Costa Rica. Each litigator concentrates in two or three substantive areas of law and, when necessary, consults with other attorneys to capitalize on of GLC’s broad range of knowledge and diverse experience. We see our role as providing not only legal counsel but also providing the practical and business implications of our legal advice, so as to help our clients achieve their legal and business goals.
